The initial route takes us south along the bay, skirting the coast and allowing us to closely admire the imposing silhouette of Macizo Huemul, one of the most emblematic mountains in the region. After approximately 40 minutes of navigation, we will arrive at Bahía Cabo de Hornos, where we will disembark to undertake an easy trekking. The trail leads us to a panoramic viewpoint on the Peninsula Cabo de Hornos, from where an unforgettable scene unfolds: the magical Bahía de los Témpanos, with its drifting ice blocks and the backdrop of the Andes Mountains. After enjoying this unique landscape, we will board again to experience the most anticipated moment of the excursion: the approach to the front of Glaciar Viedma. From the deck, we will be able to appreciate the immense ice wall in all its glory, with its bluish tones and changing textures, while the guide interprets the history and formation of this millennial glacier, the largest in Argentina. Finally, we will begin our return to the port, carrying with us the excitement of having lived an authentic experience in the heart of Patagonia, where adventure meets the contemplation of majestic and unforgettable landscapes.
