EXCLUSIVE TREKA TRAVEL Inquire about other dates ----- Perito Moreno National Park - AZARA Circuit A unique and isolated destination. In its 126,830 hectares, the National Park preserves representative samples of the Patagonian Steppe and Patagonian Forest ecoregions. From the Mirador Lago Belgrano area, in the open landscape of the sub-Andean steppe, this circuit crosses the ecotone between grasslands to the lenga forest in the Azara sector. At the same time, it offers extensive views of lakes and mountains. One of the major attractions of the National Park is the significant variety of birds that find food, shelter, and nesting sites in its beautiful mirrors and waterways. Other terrestrial species such as choiques and agachonas can also be observed, or you can appreciate the flight of the condor and the águila mora. Get ready to experience a unique adventure in one of the most remote and pristine places in Argentina. For five days and four nights, you will hike through Perito Moreno National Park, in the heart of Santa Cruz province. It will be a 52 km journey in an imposing and almost unexplored natural environment, with no cell phone signal or access to electricity: a true disconnection to reconnect with the essentials. Each day involves long hikes, carrying your own backpack (approximately 50 liters) with everything needed for the stay. We will sleep in shelters or camping areas, surrounded by unique Patagonian landscapes, among mountains, lakes, and steppes. This expedition requires good physical condition, as it involves sustained effort over several days in mountain conditions. You will be accompanied by a professional guide authorized by the National Parks Administration, who will ensure the safety of the group and interpret the natural environment around us. An ideal adventure for those looking to step out of the conventional, challenge themselves, and immerse themselves in the vastness of southern nature.
