Itinerary
Welcome to the National Capital of Trekking. This first day is dedicated to the arrival of all participants in El Chaltén and to meeting the group and the Tour Leader who will accompany the expedition. In the afternoon, we will hold a technical talk where we will review the equipment, prepare the backpacks, and share the last recommendations to face the first two days of trekking in the mountains. It will also be an excellent opportunity to get to know the group and start living the adventure experience that awaits us. Night in assigned accommodation.

Necessary Equipment
To carry out this activity, it is necessary to have the following equipment:
- The following list is mandatory to be able to do the trekking with camping overnight on the 2nd and 3rd.
- 30 L backpack.
- Trekking boots (not sports shoes)
- 1 L water bottle.
- Clothing suitable for high mountain weather (trekking pants, dry fit shirt, micropolar, warm jacket, thermal and base layer pants)
- Headlamp with extra batteries
- Personal hygiene
- First aid kit
- Two pairs of socks (trekking and thermal)
- Accessories: gloves, hat, buff, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lip balm.
- Change of clothes, if necessary.
- Trekking poles
- Thermal blanket

Frequently Asked Questions
The closest airport is Comandante Armando Tola International Airport (FTE), located in El Calafate, approximately 200 km from El Chaltén. Day 1 of the itinerary is intended for participants’ arrival. We recommend booking flights arriving in the morning or around midday, as from the airport you will continue your journey by land to El Chaltén. The transfer takes approximately 3 hours, traveling through the beautiful landscapes of the Patagonian steppe. Once you have your flights confirmed, our team will be able to advise you and help coordinate the most convenient transfer to El Chaltén.
