Descripción

Inquire about other dates ------ Valle de las Lágrimas - Cordillera de los Andes - Malargüe, Mendoza. Duration: 3 Days/2 Nights Modality: Horseback Riding or Trekking Maximum altitude reached: 3700 masl On Friday, October 13, 1972, a Uruguayan plane carrying 45 passengers to Chile, many of whom were students and players of a rugby team, crashed in the Cordillera de los Andes. Twelve died on impact, and those who survived had to endure, among other things, the fearsome mountains with temperatures dropping to thirty degrees below zero at night and a shortage of food supplies. Tired of the low temperatures and the slow wait for rescue, two of them decided to cross the immense mountains to reach Chile, so that on December 22 of that same year, almost 72 days later, the world learned that sixteen had triumphed over death. Our journey invites you to visit this miraculous place that, on the other hand, has very important historical and scenic significance.
