Itinerary
Welcome to the National Capital of Trekking. This first day is dedicated to the arrival of all participants in El Chaltén and to meeting the group and the Tour Leader who will accompany the expedition. In the afternoon, we will hold a technical talk where we will review the equipment, prepare the backpacks, and share the final recommendations to face the first two days of trekking in the mountains. It will also be an excellent opportunity to get to know the group and start experiencing the adventure that awaits us. Night in assigned accommodation. ✈️ How to organize your flight? The nearest airport is Comandante Armando Tola International Airport (FTE), located in El Calafate, approximately 200 km from El Chaltén. We recommend booking flights arriving in the morning or at noon, as from the airport you will need to continue the journey by land to El Chaltén, a trip of approximately 3 hours through the landscapes of the Patagonian steppe. Once you have your flights confirmed, our team will be able to advise you and help coordinate the most convenient transfer to El Chaltén.

Necessary Equipment
To carry out this activity, it is necessary to have the following equipment:
- The following list is mandatory to be able to do the trekking with camping overnight on the 2nd and 3rd.
- 30 L backpack.
- Trekking boots (not sports shoes)
- 1 L water bottle.
- Clothing suitable for high mountain weather (trekking pants, dry fit t-shirt, micropolar, warm jacket, thermal, and base layer pants)
- Headlamp with extra batteries
- Personal hygiene
- First aid kit
- Two pairs of socks (trekking and thermal)
- Accessories: gloves, hat, buff, sunglasses, sunscreen, and lip balm.
- Spare clothing, if necessary.
- Trekking poles
